2022 Recap

Things from 2022 that really matter

  1. How I talk to myself matters, the promises that I make to myself, matter. The judgment and criticism that I bestow on myself, matters. Using hatred instead of compassion as motivators, matters; The relationship with myself it’s the one that most matters. Softening and loving ourselves is wise, it feels right, it allows us to expand and be us.
  2. Putting down the phone, the screen, the tech to be present, matters. Attunment to my needs and my family’s needs, matters. Silence and rest, matter. As we practice staying present, we become more and more aware, more connected to ourselves and those we love
  3. Dimming my light for others, matters. Making myself small so others feel good, matters. Staying quiet when I want to speak, matters. As we practice shining our light, finding our voice, speaking up, we become stronger.
  4. Self-harming is subtle, sometimes undetectable and it matters so much. It can come in the form of words, unkept promises, harsh judgements, unmet expectations and it really matters. As we practice self compassion and kindness, our heart expands and we become closer to our loving essence.
  5. Unconditional love is possible and is there and it really matters. There is no need to test it, push it away or avoid it for doing so is denying our very essence, our soul, our existence; I am love.
